1939 PLYMOUTH FOUND

A few weeks ago I sent out a message to the Touch of Classic community that I had a customer looking for a 1939 Plymouth.

Several responses came back, one was in Minnesota. I also called one of my collector friends and he said he had a friend that was interested in trading his 1939 Plymouth for one of his Ford Fairlane convertibles.

My friend David went and loaded up the 39′ which was in the Dallas Fort Worth area and brought it home to show to our prospective customer. The customer thought the Plymouth was a very nice vehicle but is thinking now that he might wait and try to find a 2 door instead of a 4 door.

I was again confident when I saw the Plymouth that we would have a for sure sale. I guess it is like the old saying “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.”

I did a follow up call yesterday and I haven’t received a response yet, so I am going to list the 39′ Plymouth on our site. If you or anyone you know is looking for a 1939 Plymouth 4 door suicide doors this is about as nice a car as you will find for $15,000 OBO.
